What’s hotter than Texas in July? This gorgeous Del Bosque Peterbilt truck and pup rolling out of our shop on matching Warren WS-700 dump beds. Because the customer wanted maximum payload with show-truck looks, our team built a rig that hauls hard and turns heads. From the chrome stacks to the legendary red boards, every detail earns its place on this Peterbilt dump truck and pup combo.

The Truck: WS-700 15′ Bed and Variable Cab Shield
First, let’s start with the truck. We mounted a 15′ Warren WS-700 dump body and cradled a variable cab shield beautifully between the polished stacks. In addition, a cab-controlled Donovan electric tarp covers the load at the flip of a switch. As a result, the driver stays productive, legal, and protected on every run.
- 15′ Warren WS-700 bed built for heavy, abrasive loads
- Variable cab shield nestled between the chrome exhaust stacks
- Cab-controlled Donovan electric tarp for fast coverage
Heavy Pintle Plate Rigging for the Pup
Next, towing power anchors the rear. We installed a 1″ x 17″ Warren pintle plate with under-plate full pup rigging and a 50-ton hitch. Furthermore, hose-mounted glad hands and a 7-way plug feed air and power straight back to the trailer. Therefore the driver connects the pup quickly and controls both bodies without leaving the cab.
- 1″ x 17″ Warren pintle plate with a 50-ton hitch
- Under-plate full pup rigging for clean, secure hookups
- Hose-mounted glad hands and a 7-way plug
The Pup: Short-Frame WS-700 12′ Trailer
Moreover, the matching pup carries the load even further. This short-frame Warren pup rides a 12′ WS-700 bed on polished aluminum wheels, and its own Donovan electric pup tarp answers to the same in-cab controls. Consequently, one operator runs the entire truck and pup from a single seat.

- Polished aluminum wheels for a clean, finished look
- Donovan electric pup tarp controlled from inside the cab
Custom Peterbilt Grey and Legendary Red
Finally, the paint ties it all together. We finished both bodies in a custom cab-match Peterbilt grey, then trimmed the boards and fenders in Peterbilt’s signature legendary red. Although the spec demanded serious craftsmanship, we delivered a stunning, fleet-ready rig on time. Ultimately, this build shows how Warren Truck and Trailer engineers equipment that works as hard as it looks. Ready to spec your own? Contact our team—because Texas just got hotter.
